Description
Creamy Chicken & Rice Bowls with Garlic Sauce – tender chicken, fluffy rice, and a rich, homemade garlic cream sauce for a comforting family dinner.
Ingredients
3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup long-grain white rice
4–6 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Rinse rice until water runs clear. Boil with 2 cups of water. Simmer 18–20 minutes, then rest covered.
2. Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear in oil over medium-high heat for 6–7 minutes per side.
3. Remove chicken and lower heat. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute.
4. Stir in soy sauce and heavy cream. Simmer 5 minutes until thick.
5. Slice chicken and return to sauce. Stir to coat.
6. Serve over rice and garnish with parsley or pepper.
Notes
Avoid overcooking garlic. Thin sauce with milk or broth if needed. Add vegetables or herbs for extra flavor.
