Description
Creamy Parmesan Garlic Beef Bowtie Pasta combines tender bowtie pasta, savory ground beef, and a cheesy garlic cream sauce for the ultimate comfort food.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
12 oz bowtie pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped for garnish
Instructions
1. Bring salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup water, drain, and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet. Cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat, season lightly, and set aside.
3. In same skillet, sauté onion until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly.
4. Stir in Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Add beef broth and simmer 2 minutes.
5. Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, then Parmesan. Stir until smooth. Add mozzarella if using. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
6. Return beef to skillet. Add pasta and toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed.
7. Taste, adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley or basil. Serve hot with extra Parmesan.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture. Store leftovers up to 4 days in fridge or 2 months in freezer. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or broth.
