Description
Crispy Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken delivers juicy chicken with a crunchy, cheesy coating made with Parmesan and herbs for a quick, healthy dinner.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
Olive oil spray
Instructions
1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
2. Mix salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and olive oil; rub over each chicken breast.
3. Combine Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.
4. Dip seasoned chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
6. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with olive oil.
7. Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
Use fresh Parmesan for the best flavour.
For a spicy version, add paprika or cayenne to the breadcrumbs.
Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for 5 minutes to keep them crispy.
