- 4 large chicken breasts
- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped for garnish optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F 200°C.
- Cut chicken breasts into strips or leave whole.
- Pour milk into one bowl and mix bread crumbs with salt, garlic powder, and pepper in another.
- Dip chicken in milk, coat in bread crumbs, and then press into grated cheddar cheese.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- Let rest 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
Best served hot with salad, vegetables, or potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
