Ingredients
6 cups chopped apples (6 medium)
1 box yellow cake mix
¾ cup butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9-inch pan.
2. Spread chopped apples evenly in the bottom of the pan.
3. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over apples.
4. Pour melted butter over the cake mix, tilting the pan to cover evenly.
5. Bake for 45–50 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
6. Cool for 30 minutes before serving.
7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
