Description
Garlic Soy Sauce Chicken & Rice features tender marinated chicken caramelized in a sticky soy-honey glaze, served over warm white rice for a perfectly balanced meal.
Ingredients
4 raw chicken breasts, sliced into nugget sizes
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 scallion stalks, chopped
White rice
Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, honey, garlic, and scallions for at least 4 hours.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat.
3. Add the marinated chicken and its juices into the hot pan.
4. Cover with a lid and cook until the marinade begins to caramelize.
5. If it’s not thick enough, add a spoonful of honey and a dash of soy sauce.
6. Stir and cook until the chicken starts to brown on the outside.
7. Serve with cooked white rice and drizzle with extra honey soy sauce.
Notes
Marinate no longer than overnight for the best texture.
Add chili flakes or sesame seeds for extra flavor.
Use low-sodium soy sauce if preferred.
Store leftovers separately for easy reheating.
