Description
Sticky and tender Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs made with soy sauce, garlic, and honey for a sweet and savory dinner ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves minced garlic
110 g (1/3 cup) honey
80 ml (1/3 cup) chicken stock
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp chopped parsley
½ tsp chili flakes
Boiled rice to serve
Instructions
1. Coat chicken with cornflour, salt, and pepper until fully covered.
2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add chicken and cook 4–5 minutes per side.
3. Add butter and minced garlic. Stir until fragrant.
4. Mix honey, chicken stock, rice vinegar, and soy sauce in a bowl.
5. Pour sauce into the pan and bring to a boil. Simmer 4–5 minutes until thickened.
6. Sprinkle parsley and chili flakes, then serve over rice.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for the best flavor and tenderness. You can substitute chicken breast but cook it quickly to avoid dryness.
