Description
These Mini Caprese Bites combine cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil on skewers, finished with olive oil and balsamic glaze for a fresh, elegant appetizer.
Ingredients
12 cherry tomatoes
12 fresh basil leaves
12 small mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
3 tbsp balsamic glaze
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
12 toothpicks or small skewers
Instructions
1. Wash cherry tomatoes and pat dry.
2. Drain mozzarella balls; cut in half if large.
3. Thread tomato, basil leaf, and mozzarella onto skewers.
4. Arrange on platter and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Chill 10–15 minutes if desired, then serve.
Notes
Prepare skewers up to 12 hours ahead, but drizzle with oil and glaze just before serving to maintain freshness and presentation.
