Description

Ooey-Gooey Cheesy Garlic Chicken wraps tender chicken, golden garlic, and two kinds of melted cheese inside crispy tortillas. Quick to prepare and bursting with flavor, this recipe makes the perfect comfort food for weeknights, meal prep, or party platters.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cooked, diced chicken breast

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 medium flour tortillas

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cook Chicken: Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper, then bake, sauté, or grill until done. Dice into bite-sized cubes.

2. Sauté Garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

3. Add Chicken: Toss diced chicken with garlic oil to coat evenly. Remove from heat.

4. Mix with Cheese: Stir in mozzarella and cheddar while chicken is still warm, letting cheese begin to melt.

5. Assemble Wraps: Lay tortillas flat. Spoon cheesy chicken filling into the center. Fold sides inward and roll tightly like a burrito.

6. Toast Wraps: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

7. Rest and Slice: Let wraps rest 1–2 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.

8. Serve: Enjoy warm, ooey-gooey wraps straight from the skillet.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time.

Swap mozzarella or cheddar with gouda, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack for different flavors.

Add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or sautéed onions for variety.

Make gluten-free by using certified gluten-free tortillas.

Brush tortillas with garlic butter before toasting for extra flavor.
