Description
Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella Bites combine salty prosciutto, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, and sweet balsamic glaze into an elegant, bite-sized appetizer.
Ingredients
4 oz sliced prosciutto, halved lengthwise
20 marinated mozzarella balls
20 fresh basil leaves
Balsamic glaze, to taste
Instructions
1. Cut prosciutto slices in half lengthwise.
2. Drain mozzarella balls and pat dry.
3. Place a basil leaf and mozzarella ball on one end of prosciutto slice.
4. Roll prosciutto around mozzarella and basil, secure with cocktail pick.
5. Arrange on platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
Assemble up to a day ahead but drizzle with glaze just before serving. Try variations with melon, mint, or flavored balsamic glaze.
