This Ricotta Dip with Hot Honey combines creamy ricotta, zesty lemon, and a spicy honey drizzle, topped with walnuts and rosemary for a gourmet appetizer.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh ricotta cheese (around 475g)
Zest from half a lemon
Juice from half a lemon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup runny honey
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes
1–2 teaspoons freshly chopped rosemary
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
1. Blend ricotta, lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth.
2. Spread whipped ricotta into a shallow serving bowl.
3. Mix honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes in a small bowl until combined.
4. Drizzle hot honey mixture over ricotta.
5. Top with walnuts and rosemary.
6. Serve with crackers, crostini, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
Whip ricotta base ahead of time and refrigerate. Add hot honey, nuts, and rosemary just before serving for best freshness and presentation.
