Description

These tater tot appetizer cups are crispy, cheesy, and topped with savory bacon and green onions, perfect for sharing at parties or as a fun snack!


Ingredients

Scale

24 frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

3. Place one frozen tater tot in each cup of the mini muffin tin.

4. Bake the tater tots in the oven for about 12-15 minutes or until they start to brown and are partially cooked.

5. Remove the muffin tin from the oven and use the back of a spoon to press the tater tots down to form a cup shape.

6. Sprinkle each tater tot cup with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper.

7. Return the muffin tin to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Allow the tater tot cups to cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the muffin tin.

9. Top each tater tot cup with a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with chopped green onions.

Notes

Prepare the cups ahead by shaping the tots, then store in the fridge and bake later with toppings.
