Description
Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet combines juicy chicken with a smoky, buttery sauce made from honey, paprika, and garlic powder.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F). Remove from skillet.
3. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan, then stir in the butter mixture until smooth.
4. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer 2–3 minutes to absorb flavors.
5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Healthier option – Reduce butter or replace with olive oil.
Spicy twist – Add cayenne or chili flakes for extra heat.
Flavor boost – Add a splash of lemon juice or cream at the end.
Meal prep – Cook ahead, refrigerate, or freeze for later.
